 AAACI develops documentary and moving-image projects that translate historical research and oral histories into cinematic and installation-based works for public audiences. 


 Our film program centers on migration, family, memory, and belonging — expanding how Asian American histories are seen, heard, and remembered.

A documentary following Chinese American families tracing ancestral villages in southern China while reflecting on identity, displacement, and belonging in the United States.
