Some of these voices are being recorded for the first time

Help Preserve the Stories That Built Asian America

AAACI records, preserves, and shares Asian American histories through archival research, oral history, exhibitions, and film.

Every archive begins with a person, a family, and a life shaped by migration, resilience, and belonging.

Donate to Preserve These Stories

Behind Every Archive Is a Life

Many of the stories we document have never been recorded before.

They live in family memories, in aging photo albums, in handwritten letters carried across oceans.

For some elders, sharing their story is the first time their experiences have been publicly acknowledged.

These moments are fragile.

If they are not recorded now, they may be lost forever.

AAACI works directly with families and community members to document these histories—ensuring they are preserved with dignity and shared with future generations.
